The ISO U/A-U/A-U/A-P-O Series Analog Signal Isolation Amplifier is an electronic integrated module capable of simultaneously providing electrical isolation, amplification, and conversion for four signal channels,It employs a compact standard SIP 16-pin (single in-line package) flame-retardant housing with resin encapsulation. Internally integrated are a multi-channel isolated DC/DC conversion circuit powered by a single supply and multiple capacitively coupled signal isolation circuits. It supports single-ended input/output for analog signals, as well as isolated transmission with positive-to-positive and negative-to-negative input/output configurations. The entire unit requires no external potentiometers or other electronic components, eliminating the need for zero and gain adjustments. This significantly simplifies system design and reduces on-site usage costs for users. The analog signal transmission within the product employs capacitive coupling isolation technology. Compared to magnetic-electrical isolation, it offers superior resistance to EMC interference. Compared to optoelectronic isolation technology, it provides better temperature drift characteristics and linearity, while eliminating the cumbersome task of repeatedly calibrating zero and full-scale points during operation. The auxiliary power supply employs a single-source configuration with 3kVDC isolation between the power supply and signal input channels. This design enables users to power multiple modules simultaneously using either a single or multiple power supplies, effectively reducing both the design complexity and physical footprint of the control system.

 

The ISO U/A-U/A- U/A-U/A-P-O series modules are simple and easy to use. offering two installation methods: PCB board soldering for module encapsulation and standard DIN 35 rail slot mounting. Both methods enable isolation distribution and amplification conversion of analog signals from various industrial field sensors, transmitters, and instruments or control systems, such as 4-input/4-output configurations. They meet industrial-grade environmental requirements for humidity, vibration, and wide temperature ranges (-40 to +85°C). This product is specifically designed for complex industrial field environments, effectively eliminating ground loop interference, isolating high-voltage surges, converting signal types, and enabling long-distance signal amplification with distortion-free transmission. Note: The ISO U/A-U/A- U/A-U/A-P-O series products employ advanced feedback zero adjustment technology, ensuring high consistency between input and output zero points. Due to design and size constraints, the product does not incorporate a zero-offset circuit internally. Therefore, when selecting the model, ensure that the input and output zero points do not exhibit any offset. For example: Input 4-20mA, output 0-5V; input 0-20mA, output 1-5V; or input 1-5V, output 0-5V. Signals with zero-point offset (not zero-to-zero) cannot be used with this series of products.

Signals with zero-point offset can be fully converted using our ISOEC U/A-P-O or ISOEC U/A-U/A-P-O-O series products.

High-Voltage Isolation Safety Testing Methods and Precautions

1、Connect the wiring as shown in the diagram above. Set the rated high voltage value of the high voltage tester according to the product's isolation voltage parameters. During testing, ensure personal safety and guard against electric shock! Testing Environment: Room temperature TA=25°C, air humidity < 75%

2、Operators performing high-voltage testing must wear rubber insulating gloves and stand on rubber insulating mats to prevent electric shock from high voltage. 

3、The instrument housing of the high-voltage tester must be reliably grounded. Do not perform testing in environments characterized by high temperatures, humidity, or excessive dust.

4、When connecting the high-voltage tester to the test subject, ensure the high-voltage output value is “0” and the test function key is in the “reset” state. Do not touch any other objects.

5、Do not touch the test object, test leads, or high-voltage output terminals while the instrument is in high-voltage test mode or before high-voltage discharge has completed.

6、The product isolation withstand voltage test method is shown in the figure above. Short-circuit the input and output terminals respectively, then apply the rated voltage for a 1-minute test.

7、Adjust the tester's output voltage manually from zero to the rated value based on the product's rated isolation voltage, then maintain it at that level for one minute.

8、Insulation voltage testing is inherently a destructive test for insulating materials. For the same product, high-voltage testing should be minimized. When multiple testing and certification cycles are required for different clients, the general requirement is as follows: The first test for a batch of products should be conducted at the rated voltage specified in the technical documentation. Subsequent tests should reduce the test voltage to 70% of the rated value and correspondingly decrease the number of high-voltage tests. Failure to do so may result in irreparable damage to the product during repeated high-voltage testing.
